Why Illusions Are BS is a hack of my one-page arguing-over-taxonomy game, Why Necromancy Doesn't Exist. While Why Necromancy Doesn't Exist is about the petty rivalries and arguments of academia, Why Illusions Are BS is about arguing on the internet. It is can be played in Discord Threads, over Tumblr posts, or anywhere that you can argue with your friends about magic taxonomy online.

The concept of Why Illusions Are BS was created by Basil Vesca. If you were thinking of paying for this game, go check out their comics instead. Or support their Ko-fi:

PLEASE BE AWARE: This game includes a printer-friendly version of the rules, and a stylized version of the rules in gif form. The gif version of the game includes flashing animations.
